Luxury Hair by Lisa Turner offers a friendly environment where each client is offered a personal one to one treatment. Come in and enjoy a fresh filter coffee and a relaxing hair treatment. Appointments recommended but not always necessary.
We have over 21 years of experience in the hairdressing and barbering industry and 16 years in the teaching industry. We specialise in all aspects of hair including natural curly hair and curl by curl cutting and styling.

This service is for natural curly hair only.
▪︎ Clients' will be required to arrive to the salon with freshly washed hair, dry and in its natural state with no products in the hair. Each curl will be hand cut to its natural curl.
▪︎ Curly Cut and Diffuse Styling includes a full consultation, wash, cut and diffuse styling.
▪︎ Curly Dry Cut includes consultation and dry cut only.
*Please note this cut is not ideal for a client who likes to wear their hair straight.

*Colour prices are for up to 2 colours per service, an additional £5 charge per colour will apply if more than 2 colours are required.
A £10 charge will also be added for thick hair on all services.
As a small salon, we hope you understand that we need to protect our business. Therefore, we will ask for a non-refundable or transferable 50% booking fee to secure your appointment. The remainder will be payable in the salon, on the day of your appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please phone the salon during our opening hours on 0151 427 9858.
We are open Thursday 10am-5pm, Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 9.30am-3pm.
The salon phone is not monitored outside of our opening times and we will not receive your voicemail until the salon re-opens, so please don't hesitate to get in touch with us via Facebook or Instagram, text a reply to your appointment reminder, or email us at luxuryhairbylisaturner@hotmail.com
We ask for 48 hours’ notice of a cancelled or rescheduled appointment. If less than 48 hours’ notice is not given you will be asked to pay the remaining balance in full. If the remaining balance is not paid you will not be offered any future bookings at our salon.
At the discretion of the business, you may lose 50% of your booking fee to rearrange a new appointment. This fee is to pay for the time and effort it takes to rearrange our diary due to cancelations and rescheduling.
If you book an appointment for a colour or a service that involves a substantial amount of time being booked out of the salon diary, and you change your mind resulting in the business suffering a loss of revenue, you will be asked to pay for the full cost of the service originally booked. If we do not receive the payment you will not be offered any future appointments at our salon.
We have Slick protection and if necessary we will take payment from the card stored on your client account for no-shows, cancellations, admin fees, and loss of revenue.
By booking online, face to face, on the phone or through social media you accept the salon's terms and conditions.
We do not offer refunds on booking fees or services. We hope this does not happen but if you are not 100% happy with your service please inform the stylist before you leave the salon. If you do not inform your stylist before you leave the salon any additional alterations to your service/style are met at your own cost.
Clients who turn up late for their appointment may be refused their service or the full service may not be achievable due to time restraints in which case an alternative service will be offered at the price of the original service.

Curly Cutting Courses
Luxury Hair By Lisa Turner offer accredited training courses in cutting and styling natural curly hair using the Curl By Curl cutting technique.
I have been hairdressing for 21 years and I am a fully qualified teacher & assessor who graduated at Liverpool John Moores University in 2012. I have previously worked in private education and FE. Since leaving FE I have built my business Luxury Hair to where it is today, and I continue to work as a freelance educator and End Point Assessor traveling around the UK.
I am excited and proud to announce that I have created 3 courses in cutting and styling natural curly and textured hair that have gained accreditation and CPD points for teachers.
There is a lack of education in working with curly hair. My aim is to educate hairdressers and teachers. In the coming years, hairdressing lecturers will need to upskill and learn how to cut curly hair as a mandatory curly hair unit will be introduced to the new hair qualifications.

Full-day interactive course with theory, a demonstration from the educator, and practical training for learners either using a model or training head.
This course will suit qualified hairdressers and hairdressing lecturers who would like to learn how to cut and style curly and textured hair.
You will learn how to cut curly hair using the Curl By Curl cutting technique, hair textures, and curl patterns, how to correctly apply curly products using Only Curls hair products, and how to style curly hair using a diffuser.
Natural Cury Hair Styling Course
Accredited with 3.5 CPD points
9.30am-2.30pm
In person or online training available
This course will suit qualified hairdressers and hairdressing lecturers who would like to learn how to style curly and textured hair.
You will learn how to apply the correct products to the hair using Only Curls products, 4 different styling techniques from finger coiling, curl clumping, rake and shake, and Denman brush styling.
Curly Cutting Workshop
Accredited with 3 CPD points

Demo only.
This workshop will suit qualified hairdressers and hairdressing lecturers who would like to learn how to cut and style Afro and textured hair.
Our educator will perform a demonstration on a curly cut and styling using the Curl By Curl cutting technique. Basic theory on hair textures, how to correctly apply curly products using Only Curls hair products, and basic styling techniques to diffuse dry natural curls.
